DM FOUNDATION

FOR THE COMMUNITY

With the intention of creating better environments and positivity for those experiencing hardship in the Gorge Community, Double Mountain brings you the DM Foundation.  Beginning with assistance to hospitality workers in the Gorge Community affected by the COVID-19, the DM Foundation quickly expanded and now provides assistance to multiple causes locally, regionally, and nationally .

Our vibrant and essential Brewery and Taproom staff are also experiencing extraordinary hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.   Double Mountain wanted to give back to the employees that have worked hard to make the brewery a success. This non-profit foundation formed after the initial government closure of dine-in restaurants to assist those laid-off due to the pandemic. The DM Foundation provides assistance for shelter, food, & healthcare to hospitality workers throughout the Gorge Community displaced by this crisis.

Recently, the United Way of Columbia Gorge awarded a generous $7500 grant for local grocery and Gorge Grown Farmer's Market gift cards to directly aid staff that are in financial distress. The foundation is extremely grateful for this gracious gift from the local community and is excited to expand our donations to reach more hospitality workers in the Gorge.

All funds raised will be distributed as direct support to eligible applicants in some of the ways listed below.  There is room in the criteria to help in other ways on a case-by-case basis in acute instances of crisis. All grants will be paid directly to vendors or through gift cards.
